A Summer of SUCCESS!

"Your Past Doesn't Disqualify You..... it Prepares You."

The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you discover WHY! Unfortunately, many people spend their life roaming aimlessly without a sense of purpose or intention and feel guilty about it. However, it is okay not to know your purpose, but it's not okay for you not to be on a mission to discover it. It is not okay to repeat the same things over and over never understanding "WHY" God put you on this earth.

Not understanding why you were born and having no sense of your life purpose can produce a feeling of hopelessness and an overwhelming sense of being stuck. These emotions and this unproductive life narrative lead to frustration, regret, and unfulfillment. Years of this type of unproductive thinking may also lead to addictive behaviors which can lead to poor choices that unfortunately for some lead to a road to incarceration.

That type of thinking is what drives our "WHY" and allows us to fulfill our purpose within our leadership academy prison project. We know that God created everyone on PURPOSE for a PURPOSE!

In the KPM Leadership Academy, our mission is to help unlock the purpose and potential of our students. It is our greatest desire to help each student discover their "WHY" and live out each day passionately fulfilling it.

Our desire is to bring awareness so they can live with purpose even while they are serving a sentence in prison. Thank goodness that our past doesn't define our future. It doesn't have to disqualify you but it can prepare you if you will embrace where you are and prepare for where you are going. Knowing that a bad choice doesn't make you a bad person. God loves you right where you are! He is the only one who can take our brokenness and make us whole again.

This is exactly what is happening with our veterans in the Texas prisons! All we can say is, "What a Summer of SUCCESS!" As we stop long enough to look over the last several months we feel as though we have been caught up in a whirlwind. Over the summer we graduated 331 students in four weeks from the KPM Leadership Academy. We were so blessed to see our students filled with energy, passion, and purpose as they make these great strides of success and new accomplishments. We are watching this type of energy become contagious among others and the word is out in the entire unit. "If you want to grow and change....this is the place to be!" We couldn't be more proud of our students! Check out below the lives that we are impacting together through partnership.

This is our "WHY!"

Deploying Trained Veterans to Reach the General Population

Great News! As you can see the KPM Leadership Academy is GROWING at a rapid rate! The program has gained great momentum and a great reputation "behind the wire." Incarcerated veterans are being activated and deployed with the purpose for the first time in many years. The program is now expanding to the general population in several prisons and we couldn't be more excited to see the impact. We are convinced that small steps lead to BIG results and we are seeing it firsthand.

In several units, students are being put on a waiting list to join the academy. We currently are launching several new classes within each unit we serve.

Because of our partners, each student in the academy receives a book, workbook, journal, name badge, special curriculum handouts, graduation diploma, cap and gown, three graduation photos, and additionally a celebration meal with drink and dessert... ALL FREE of CHARGE!

This all happens because of YOU! Through your partnership, we are rescuing prisoners of war who desperately need your help! We are grateful for you joining us to give these men a second chance at life. God's mercy endures forever.

"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” Victor Frankl
