See what's happening on the Ranch! Over the last several years, we have worked on the renovation and economic improvement of our 30 acre haven in Midway, Texas. We are elated to announce the vision of the Happy Haven missions cabin that will serve as a rural retreat for missionaries, pastors, and our elite KPM partners.

Looking forward, we aim to expand our mission endeavors as a ministry. It is important to us to not only sustain our current relations and support, but to reach beyond our present borders.

Over the past several years, we have learned an extensive amount about economic sustainability, ranging from livestock to vegetation. As this information could largely benefit those residing in more primitive environments, we plan to develop an economic training strategy that will equip our mission partners with the knowledge and means to sustain their community.

DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

We are so excited about this project! Over the past several years we have developed a rural oasis in Midway, TX. It's now the perfect time to add the addition of the first missions cabin to the property. We foresee these residence being a place to get away and relax, reflect and get revived. A place to re-ignite dreams and enhance clear vision in the heart and mind. Coaching sessions will also be part of the service offered.

"THE PLAN"

THE VISION

To provide a place and atmosphere of rest, re-focus and renewal. A place to re-ignite dreams and enhance clear vision in the heart and mind. 

The cabin will be located on the beautiful 30 acre Happy Haven Ranch, located in Midway, Texas. Guests will be able to take a few days to pull away from their busy life and demanding schedules. Conveniently located, they will be able to leave the hustle bustle of the city and find a hidden gem nestled among the majestic oak trees. The ranch provides a peaceful ambiance with lush land, an amazing free form stocked pond for fishing and nature walking paths for a country stroll. There is a beautiful vegetable garden lit up with hanging lights waiting for the evening pick and enjoyment for those wanting a real “taste” of the country life. Behind the corral fences there is livestock (Texas Longhorns), chickens, horses and all the rustic beauty of nature and animals, which provides the feeling of being on a real working ranch. The cabin will be located on the same property as the Kenton Pate Ministries headquarters.

                            HOSTING

  • Missionaries on short-term sabbaticals.  This will provide a place for them to stay free of charge as they come off of the field for rest resetting and future focus. 

 

  • Pastors and wives for a short stay retreat.  This will allow them to escape the every day ministry/church pressures and responsibilities.     

 

  • Ministry Partners (time of stay will be determined by their level of partnership).

 

      This will also include one on one coaching            provided by Lift Leadership and Consulting.
